Our extensions run entirely inside your browser. They never send page content, URLs, selected text, or personal data to us or to anyone else. The only network traffic is (1) anonymous usage counts and (2) a purchase check when you buy a paid upgrade.

Anonymous usage counts. To know whether an extension is being used, we send a small number of event names (install, first use, feature used, upgrade screen shown, purchase) to Google Analytics 4 via its Measurement Protocol. Each install generates a random identifier stored on your device so events are not double-counted. These events contain no page content, URLs, search terms, or personal identifiers. You can disable this in the extension's options where available.
Purchases. Paid upgrades are sold and processed by Polar (Polar Software Inc.), acting as merchant of record. Polar receives the e-mail address you enter at checkout, handles the payment and the tax, and issues you a license key. When you paste that key into the extension, the extension sends only the key and our organization ID to api.polar.sh and gets back a valid / not valid answer. It does not send the page you are on, the text you selected, your table data, your e-mail address, or any identifier of you. The answer is remembered on your device for up to 7 days so the check does not repeat on every use. We never see or store card details.
Browsing history, page content, form inputs, credentials, cookies, selected or copied text, exported files, or any personally identifiable information. We do not use uninstall tracking, and we do not sell or share data with third parties.
Each extension requests only the permissions it needs. Typical ones: activeTab / scripting (read the current page when you click), storage (save your settings on your device), contextMenus (right-click menu). An extension that must react the moment you select text (such as the highlighter) needs to be present on every page, which Chrome describes as "read and change all your data on all websites"; it reads the page locally and changes nothing. Anonymous analytics are kept according to Google Analytics' default retention settings. Settings and license status stay on your device until you uninstall the extension.
If we change what an extension collects, this page and the extension's store listing are updated before the change ships.
